Sumbal : Anjumane Sharie Shiyaan Jammu and Kashmir held a day long Majlis-e Aza at Nowgam payeen Sonawari area of Bandipora District. Majlis was organised in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Raza(a.s) the eighth Imam of Shia Muslims. Hundreds of devotees from different parts of kashmir took part in the majlis.
While addressing the congregation of azadari President Anjumane Sharie Shiyaan Aga Syed Hassan Al Mosavi al Safvi spoke about the life and contribution of Imam Raza towards Islam and humanity. He said that the path of Imam Raza a.s was based on righteousness and his life is an example for generations till all times to come.
Moreover an ‘Azadari Jaloos’ was also taken out from Nowgam Payeen to Botoo Mohala Nowgam Sonawari which was attended by a large numbers of devotees.
