Chairperson DDC Udhampur convenes Outreach Program at Pyt Dhanwalt

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 02: Chairman District Development Council Udhampur Lal Chand today led a community outreach program at Panchayat Dhanwalt, Block Parlidhar.

The event was attended by several officials, including DDC Ramnagar-1 Mool Raj; DDC Ramnagar-II, Jattu Ram, BDC Parlidhar, Neelam Devi; BDO and representatives from different departments such as RDD, PWD, PMGSY, Education, Forest, PDD, and others.

Local PRI representatives, including Sarpanch Balwan Singh and local residents projected the issues of public importance. They demanded renovation of the 11 km PMGSY road from Sunetar to Dhanwalt .

Chairman Lal Chand assured that the renovation work would be initiated after discussing the matter with PMGSY Department officials. Other issues, including construction of boundary wall, drinking water facility, posting of a warden, and Chowkidar in Government Girls Middle School Dhawalt, were also addressed.

After the outreach program, Chairman Lal Chand inspected the Dhanwalt to Bargadian road and inaugurated a 25 KVA transformer in village Bargadian to improve electricity supply. He also inspected PMAY AWAS PLUS Yojna houses of Baldev Raj and Ram Chand in Panchayat Blandh.

During the visit, the chairman engaged with prominent residents, social workers, and representatives of the NGOs who raised concerns about the area’s development. He assured them that the projected issues would be resolved promptly and urged officials to work efficiently to assist the residents of remote areas.
