KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 02: The District Administration Kulgam, District Employment and Counseling Centre, in collaboration with Paytm foundation (A public charitable trust) today organized an awareness cum interaction programme on Civil Services examinations at the new conference hall, here.
The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather was chief guest on the occasion.
Newly selected JKAS officers from the 2023 batch including Shajaat Farooq, Zeeshan Ilyas, Safdar Ahmad Bhat and other JKAS officers participated in the programme to guide the aspiring candidates and shared the strategy and planning adopted by them which helped them to crack the exam.
KK Parashar, from Paytm Foundation also spoke on the occasion on various interventions of the foundation for the benefit of students.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that dedication, commitment and passion are critical to crack any kind of competitive exam.
He said that Aspirants should devote quality time towards competitive Exams and should add to their knowledge base by understanding the syllabus and thoroughly preparing all the components.
He further urged aspirants to put extra efforts in order to fulfill and achieve their dreams.
District Information Officer (DIO) Kulgam, Showkat Hussain Ganie in his speech remarked that to crack any civil services exam, one has to set goals right and follow the same with hard work and self belief. AD, Employment Nowshad Ahmad shared with the participants that time management, consistency and proper strategy is vital to prepare and qualify these prestigious exams.
He added that Civil services jobs give an ample opportunity to realize personal and professional goals; one can serve the society at a much bigger platform through civil services.
ALC, Dr.Adnan Tariq urged the participants to prepare in advance, as they have sufficient time period at their disposal as time is the essence of any competitive Examination.
The participants were also informed that answer writing skills in the civil services exam plays a critical role in performing well and in this regard Aspirants need to develop these skills in order to crack Examination.
During the programme an interaction session with the civil services Aspirants was also held.
Meanwhile, Paytm foundation donated 30 desktops for the e- libraries in the district to help the NEET and civil services aspirants to prepare for their exams using digital materials.
