Mega Camp on Digital Services Awareness held at Subdivision Zainapora

SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER 01: In connection with ongoing Digital Week celebrations, a Mega Camp on revolutionary Digital Services awareness was today held at SDM Office, Zainapora.

District Development Council (DDC) Member, Aijaz Ahmed Mir and Sub- Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Zainapora, Mushtaq Ahmed Lone inaugurated the Camp which housed dozens of Stalls set up by the district and sub divisional offices.

District Informatics Officer, Shopian, Tehsildar Zainapora and other officers and officials were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC member said that Digital Week celebration is aimed to to sensitise masses regarding online services of the government and provide benefits of these to the people.

SDM stated that the Government is committed to provide transparent, free, fair and good governance to the people and celebrating digital week is a step towards penetrating and maximising the reach of online services among the people.

Officers and Officials attending stalls set up by different departments were busy in sensitizing people on online services and providing the same on spot.

Meanwhile, DDC Member along with other dignitaries inspected the stalls and enquired about the online services offered by the departments.

The camp witnessed immense public response, who thronged the venue and inquired about Digi Locker, RAS, Awam Ki Awaz, e-Unnat and Mobile Dost Application services.

On the occasion departments had prepared banners and distributed pamphlets showcasing the online services of each department among the people visiting the venue.
