27 Battalion of the Border Security Force organized a Volley ball Match at Govt. Higher Secondary School Nachiyan, Karnah North kashmir Kupwara District on the occasion of Sports Day between BSF and Karnah Tigers local team in presence of Sh. Syed Saif Ahmad, 2IC of 89 Bn BSF a/w Sh. Anand Kumar, DC of 27 Bn BSF 50 BSF Persons, Sarpanch Member of village Nachiyan and 205 Boys and Girls of Govt. Higher Secondary, School, Nachiyan. Both the teams played the match with sportsman spirit.
On the occasion pledged was taken by all and Sh. Syed Saif Ahmad, 2IC of 89 Bn BSF addressed the assembly as why India celebrates a National Sports Day every year on the 29th August on the birthday of the legendary hockey player, Major Dyan Chand Singh. who made India proud by his extraordinary sporting skills
