Man dies of burn injuries in Rajouri, family alleges foul

Police starts investigation

Rajouri,Aug 28:- A man from Rajouri died of burn injuries while as his relatives are alleging that he was killed by some of his neighbours with whom they have a land dispute.

An official told News Agency that continuation on Sunday evening one person namely Sain Dass S/oTola Ram R/o Pathan Morah Rajouri age about 70 years reportedly received injuries due to burning incident at home and brought at GMC Rajouri where doctors declared him dead.

He said that later his family members protested at GMC Rajouri while they reached at GMC Rajouri for receiving the dead body of deceased.

They alleged negligence and delay tactics at GMC Rajouri in completion of postmortem at the hospital.

They also alleged that Dass was assaulted & burned by Pawan Kumar S/O Sain Dass R/O Pathanmorha with whom they have a land dispute reportedly.

They demanded Police for fair investigation and arrest the accused immediately.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and further investigation has been taken up.
