A 45-year-old man died on Friday when a tree fell on him in Behak Wali top forest area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.

An official told that the man namely Mohammad Amin Cheechi son of Ambir Din Cheechi resident of Affan Warnow was critically injured after the tree fell on him in Behak Wali top forest area while he was grazing cattle.

He said that tree fell down due to thunder storm in the area and said person died on spot .

Meanwhile further proceedings have been taken up in this regard.(KS)
