District Administration Ramban, in collaboration with the Education Department, today organized a one day conference on the theme “Promoting Ease of Living in Schools with a focus on access to individual beneficiary schemes and Ensure quality of services delivery.’
Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam presided over the conference attended by the CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal; CEO, Devanand; DYSSO, Dharmveer Singh; the Principals of Government Higher Secondary Schools, ZEOs, Principals of Private Schools, parents of students and various other stakeholders.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that this conference is a prelude exercise for the proposed 3rd Chief Secretary Conference which will be chaired by the Prime Minister of India in October-November, 2023.
The DC said that during the conference administration would take feedback and suggestions from the participants to further improve the services like ease in Issuance, Re-issuance and Modification of Transfer Certificates, Mark sheets, Migration Certificates in the Government schools, verification of certificates, improvement in examination system, twinning of schools for ease in admission process, quality infrastructure in schools, improving learning outcomes, facilitation in registration of students for Aadhaar and universalization of use of Digi locker for all educational certificates.
A consolidated report shall be submitted to the higher authorities, the DC added.
Taking comments from the participants, the DC said that the Government has switched over all government services and schemes of various departments to online mode to provide an easy and hassle free access to people to avail the benefits of the same.
Responding to the issues highlighted by the various officers and Principals of private schools, the DC directed all the officers to improve online mode working to ensure transparent and error free services through their offices.
The DC also asked the officers to work with zeal and dedication to provide quality education to the students, especially in far flung areas of the district.
Earlier, the CEO also briefed the meeting regarding the agenda of the conference and sought feedback and suggestions from the participants.
