This rally was led by the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat while SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal, ADDC Showkat Ahmad Rather and other officers from civil and police administration participated in the rally.

The idea behind the initiative was to imbibe the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote reverence for the Indian National Flag.

The DC said that ‘Tiranga’ is a symbol of national pride for every Indian. To further honor our national flag, a very appreciative campaign ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, has been launched.

The DC appreciated the efforts of school children for remaining on the forefront in the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ campaign and also congratulated all the participants who actively participated in the grand tiranga rally and other events held under these campaigns.

The district is abuzz with activities being organized under the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign.
