Felicitates winners of Lar Premier League

The Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq today witnessed the grand finale of Lar premier League which Was played between Mighty 11 Lar vs Kings 11 Watlar at Goorwan ground Lar.

Mighty 11 Lar emerged as victorious.

Chairperson DDC Ganderbal was chief guest on the occasion and distributed trophies among the players.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairperson maintained that best sports infrastructure will be created in the district and in this regard various initiatives are already taken so that sports lovers experience best sports facilities within the district.

She also appreciated the organisers for organizing the tournament which are imperative to keep the younger generation of the district away from social evils.

He urged the local youth to participate actively in such sports activities to keep their mind and body fit besides groom their talent.

Among others, the final match was witnessed by Ex MLA Ganderbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, senior citizens and sports lovers of the area.
