As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ a life skill counseling and de-addiction camp was today organized by the Department of AYUSH here in the Government Model Higher Secondary School Ramban.
Senior Medical Officer and District Yoga Coordinator, Dr Masood Iqbal Zargar, Dr Pallvi Dutta, the school Principal, Teachers and students participated in the event.
Dr Masood delivered a detailed lecture and gave a presentation on life skill counselling and methods of de-addiction.
To raise awareness on harmful effects of drug abuse under ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’, the students were made aware of the ill effects of Drug Abuse by Dr Pallvi Dutta.
Later, Immunity boosting medicines were also distributed among the students by the Doctors besides sensitizing them about the importance of immunity boosting Ayurvedic and Unani drugs and value of yoga in daily life.
