DDC Chairperson Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq today distributed the Trophies to the winning team of
Nawabbagh Premier League during a final match.
Final match of edition lll 2023 T20 Cup of Nawabbagh Premier League was played at Nawabbagh SAS Ground between Ganderbal Gymkhana Vs Wonder Boys Safapora.
Wonder Boys Safapora won the toss and elected to bat first. They put a target of 183 in 20 overs.
Waseem Sofi and Sameer made brilliant 38 and 37 respectively.
In response Gymkhana chased this target but can’t made it at the end.
Shahid Khan was declared Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance of 4 overs 4 wickets for 14 runs.
On the occasion DDC Chairperson was chief Guest and distributed trophies among the participants.
While interacting with the players, the DDC Chairperson appreciated the organisers for organizing the tournament saying that such tournaments are instrumental in grooming the talent of the youth.
The final match was also witnessed by DDC member Wakura, DO Shadipora, media persons was along with thousands of sports lovers.
Pertinent to mention here that this tournament is played at Turf wicket and this tournament is managed by Sheikh Ul Alam Sports Association Nawabagh Ganderbal.
