ACB conducts corruption free J&K Awareness Programme at Udhampur

An awareness programme for heads of various departments was conducted by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in collaboration with the District Administration Udhampur at the district headquarters today. Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, SSP Anti-Corruption Bureau, SSP Udhampur, and other officers attended the program.

DC Udhampur stressed the need to take service as a duty and suppress high expectations to stop corruption. SSP Udhampur instructed all HODs to remain informed and take strict action against corrupt officials.

During the programme, Dy SP ACB, Gurmeet Singh gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation about the establishment of ACB, its organisational structure, procedure for registering cases, investigation procedure, and working and jurisdiction of ACB.

SSP ACB, Mohd Rashid Bhat called upon officers and officials to maintain integrity, transparency, accountability, and fairness in their work. All participants were later administered a pledge to eradicate corruption from society.
