YSS Anantnag clinches Intra-Departmental Provincial Level Cricket Tourney

Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Anantnag wins final of the Intra-Departmental Cricket Tournament while defeating YSS Srinagar. The exciting final match organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K was played between the host District Anantnag & Srinagar at Turf wicket Bhijbehra here.
Pertinently teams from all the 10 districts of the Kashmir division comprising of employees of the Youth Services and Sports participated in the Cricket Tournament.
After winning the toss, Srinagar elected to bat first and set a target of 184 runs for the host district Anantnag in which a brilliant knock of 84 runs was played by Adil Sofi and 02 wickets each were clinched by Jahangir & Khurshid from District Anantnag. Chasing down this target Anantnag chased this target in 19 overs with 06 wickets in hand, with a brilliant performance of Rayees Rasool & Mehraj Sheikh of 79 & 59(not out) and 02 wickets clinched by Zahoor Ahmad Rather from Srinagar. At the presentation ceremony, the Man of the Match was presented to Rayees Rasool & Man of the Series was awarded to Mehraj Ahmad Sheikh from Anantnag for his remarkable performance.
