Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gool, Tanveer Ul Majid today convened a meeting of Sub Divisional and Tehsil level officers of different department to review the arrangements for the smooth celebration of forthcoming Independence Day 2023 at Sub Division Headquarter Gool.

Tehsildar, Rakesh Kumar, AEEs of different Engineering wings and other officers from civil, Police and Army attended the meeting.

It was decided in the meeting that the main function would be held in Government Higher Secondary School, Gool where the VIP would unfurl the National Flag.

Detailed deliberations were held on seating arrangement, barricading, security, water and power supply, sanitation, first aid and fire tenders etc.

The SDM directed the AEE, PWD, PHE, PDD for barricading and drinking water arrangements, besides uninterrupted power supply at the venue.

Regarding First aid arrangements, the Block Medical Officer was directed to ensure the deployment of one ambulance along with a team of Doctors and necessary medicines till the conclusion of event.

A Colorful cultural program would also be presented by the educational institutions on the occasion of Independence Day, 2023.

Different committees were also constituted for ensuring successful celebrations of the National function.
