Recovers 50k fine from Offenders
Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora along with team Wednesday conducted surprise checking of vehicles on Sumbal-Bandipora road with special focus on Affixation of HSRP plates and speed limiting devices.
Around 45 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act during the checking and a fine of Rs. 50000 was recovered from offenders and documents of the some vehicles were seized. Moreover vehicles plying without HSRP were also seized.
The ARTO said that the traffic checking drive would continue in different parts of the district in coming days.
