A day after the pahari tribe’s thankful function in Karnah, people of the Gujjar community staged a protest against the presentation of the Scheduled Tribes Amendment Bill in the Parliament. People in the form of a procession reached Mani Secretariat Tangdar where they protested and said that we are not protesting against the Pahari people but we are saying that the BJP is cheating the Gujars and the Paharis. The central government’s policy is against the Gujras and we are totally opposed to the bill presented in the parliament and we are ready even if we have to go to the Supreme Court. Gujjar leader Khalid Shajad Badhana Fayyaz puswal also addressed the meeting if the government does not take the nails of consciousness, Gujjar Bakarwal section will be ready to go to any extent. Khalid Shajad Badhana said that we will fight legally against this bill. He told his people not to consider themselves alone and we will continue to fight for our right till we die and give every drop of our blood. They will continue to fight against the bill.
