Different components of the campaign were discussed, including Deep Dive-Silaphalakam, Vasudha Vandhan, Veeron Ka Vandan, Hoisting of National Flag and Singing of Rashtra Gaan, and Panch Pran Pledge. The DC urged the departments to work in coordination to make the campaign a resounding success, not just by organizing events, but also by actively participating in the same.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of paying homage to the ‘Veers’ who have sacrificed their lives for the nation. The departments were asked to prepare a list of all such ‘Veers,’ including freedom fighters and defense/police personnel of the district.

The campaign promises to deliver a memorable and impactful experience for every citizen of Rajouri, with each Gram Panchayat replenishing mother earth by planting at least 75 plant saplings, and organizing ‘Mitti Yatras’ as a part of the ‘Vasudha Vandan’ activity. This will not only emphasize the need to protect and preserve the environment, but also serve as a reminder of our duty towards our planet.

The DC highlighted the significance of celebration of Independence Day and said it will serve as a platform to instill a sense of patriotism and national pride among citizens. He urged officers to work with dedication and commitment towards making the campaign a resounding success, and to encourage citizens to actively participate in the events.

With the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign, the people of Rajouri would get an exceptional opportunity to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the nation. The campaign is a call to action for citizens to reaffirm their commitment towards building a stronger, united, and prosperous India.

The meeting was attended by ADC, Rajiv Khajuria; ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ADC Nowshera, Kartar Singh; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; Thanamandi, Shafiq Mir; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; CEO Education, Sultana Kouser; ACD, Vijay Kumar, ACP, Sheraz Chowhan, District Information Officer Israr Bukhari and other concerned officers.
