Islamia College organises service camp for 10th Muharam procession at Alamgari Bazar

On the day of Ashura, Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar today organized a free service camp for mourners’ procession at Bota Kadal to Imam Bara Zadibal.

On this occasion, juice, water and free medicines were distributed among the mourners of the procession.

The Principal Islamia College , Prof (Dr) Khurshid Ahmad Khan personally supervised the proceedings of this service camp.

The NSS Wing, NCC, College Health center, Physical Education Department and Faculty members engaged themselves in providing various services to the mourners with the larger objective of fostering compassion, unity, and solidarity among participants and the community.

The camp was headed by Dr. S Saheel, Programme Officer NSS along with the team which included Hamid, Ghulam Nabi, Mushtaq, Mehraj, Farhan and other staff members and the college students. Dr. S Saheel thanked the team for successfully managing the camp and facilitating the mourners.
