DC Udhampur takes stock of unauthorised constructions in Rural areas

Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of Revenue officers here in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex to take stock of unauthorized constructions in the Rural Areas.

The meeting was attended by SDM Ramnagar, Shishir Gupta; SDM Basantgarh, Waheed Manhas; SDM Dudu, Kulraj Singh, besides all the BDOs, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars. ACR ,Rafiq Ahmed Jaral attended the meeting through virtual mode.

During the meeting, the DC directed the officers to curb the illegal construction in rural areas and ensure the permission be granted without any delay. The buildings constructed without permission from the competent authority should immediately be sealed.

The DC took review of revenue issues which includes delivery of services under PSGA, E- office, Building permission in rural areas, Digitization of Jamabandis, Digitization and Geo referencing of cadastral maps/ mussavis, Status of agriculture census, Attestation of mutation, Relief cases etc.

He asked the department to expedite the Up-dation process of Jamabandies and quality check of revenue records as per the targets. He further exhorted the officers and field functionaries to work as a team for better results and efficient service delivery to the people.
