Nowshera Forest Division, 72 BN CRPF conduct mega plantation drive

Sunderbani Forest Range of Nowshera Forest Division today conducted a mega plantation drive on the campus of 72 BN CRPF Sunderbani.

Kailash Chander Ahlawat, the second-in-command CRPF Sunderbani along with officers of all ranks and Jawans planted scores of plants in the premises. Sudesh Kumar Sharma, Range Officer Sunderbani; Rajinder Dev Sharma, Block Officer Dharamsal and Ravi Kant from Range office played active role in the plantation drive.

The Range Officer Sunderbani appraised the officers and jawans of CRPF about the objectives of Green J&K drive. He said that institutional plantation plays a vital role in the conservation of green cover. He inspected the old plantations inside the campus which were well raised and maintained. Prabhakar Nayak, Dy. Commandant said that CRPF is carrying out the plantation every year and the success rate of the plantation raised inside the campus is quite satisfactory. The drive was conducted under the overall supervision of Vivek Verma, Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri and Satyendra Maurya, Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera.
