Srinagar, Jul 26: A man has allegedly stabbed her mother in Batengoo area of Anantnag district on Wednesday while the accused has been arrested.
An official told the news agency that a man stabbed his mother at Batengoo Anantnag during some verbal arguments at their residence.
He identified the victim as Hajra Begum, wife of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar, who has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of matter while the accused identified as Javid Ahmad Dar, son of Gh Mohiuddin Dar has been arrested
Further investigation has been started, police said.
