The children from local schools enthusiastically participated in these events held at the Government Middle School Dharmund, Government Middle School Batote, Government Middle School Thopal and Government Primary School Mainal

The event witnessed the participation of a senior Army officer and civil dignitaries, who came together to pay their respects to the valiant soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. On 26 July 23, the ceremony commenced with the event “Run for Martyrs’ followed by a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial to honor the memory of the fallen soldiers.

The occasion provided a venue for nurturing among the kids a sense of appreciation as well as patriotism and unity. Additionally, it gave people a chance to show their solidarity and support for the military and highlight the crucial role they play in defending our country.

Let’s remember and honour the bravery of our warriors who risked their lives to defend our beloved nation as we observe Kargil Vijay Diwas.
