The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kangan, Javid Ahmad today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements being put in place by different departments for smooth celebration of Independence Day, 2023 in the subdivision.
SDM impressed upon all the officers to ensure all arrangements are made well in advance.
He directed ZEO to make necessary arrangements and prepare students of schools from subdivision for cultural programs on patriotic themes and also showcase local culture on Independence Day.
He impressed upon the officers to work in coordinated manner so that all arrangements are ensured well on time.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Kangan Dr Haroon Rashid; Tehsildar Gund Javid Iqbal and officers from civil departments and from police.
