GOC SUB AREA INTERACTS WITH VEER NARIS, VEER MATA/ PITA & ORPHANED DAUGHTERS

An interaction of Veer Naris, Veer Mata / Pita & orphaned daughters with Maj Gen PBS Lamba, VSM and Mrs Harleen Lamba, Chairperson Family Welfare Organization was organized at BB Cantt today. A total of 37 personnel, including 15 Veer Naris, 10
Veer Mata / Pita & 04 orphaned daughters and their dependents from Srinagar, Kupwara, Badgam, Gandarbal & Pulwama attended the event. During the event, grievances of attendees were addressed by various agencies such as Defence Pension Disbursement Office, Zila Sainik Welfare Office, Records JAK LI, Ex-servicemen Contributory Healthy Services Cell and Veteran Cell.
All of them expressed their immense satisfaction and gratitude towards Army for taking care of them. Speaking on this occasion, Maj Gen PBS Lamba, VSM assured them of full support from Army. Indian Army is an inclusive organization that takes care of its Veterans & their dependents and holds them close to heart. This hallmark event truly echoes the rich traditions of Army and has further reinforced the faith of Veer Naris, Veer Mata / Pita and orphaned daughters in Indian Army and rekindled the feeling of patriotism.
