DC Kulgam reviews progress on PWD, PDD, JKPCC, RDD work projects under District Capex

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers to review the progress of works being executed by PWD (R&B), RDD, PDD, JKPCC departments under District Capex.

The DC directed the executing departments to pace up the speed to achieve maximum target works within the stipulated time.

During the meeting, it was informed by the concerned from JKPCC that residential quarters at Liroo are near to completion and will be ready to put in use very shortly.

It was also shared that Gujjar Bakerwal hostel is at final stage of completion and direction was passed by the DC to complete the project within days to put it on service.

While taking stock of physical and financial achievements made under District Capex and other schemes, JD planning shared that there are 2421 approved works under District capex which includes 2270 new works and 151 ongoing works. 1770 works have been Administratively approved for execution.

While reviewing progress under centrally sponsored schemes, the DC instructed concerned officers to achieve the set targets so that the potential outcome can be achieved.

He stressed to utilize the working season properly to complete works well in time.

Dr Bilal urged the concerned to work religiously and to induce extra efforts to achieve the desired results.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather; JDP, Zahid Sajjad; ACR, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz; SE KPDCL, Executive Engineer from KPDCL and other officers.
