ADDC chairs Concurrent Audit Team meeting at Bandipora

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Ali Afsar Khan Thursday chaired a meeting of the Concurrent Audit Team in his office chambers.

The meeting focused on addressing and expediting the examination of recently completed Languishing projects in the region.

During the meeting, files pertaining to the recently completed Languishing projects were formally handed over to the members of the Concurrent Audit Team. The officials were entrusted with the crucial task of thoroughly examining the cases of the completed projects. The examination aimed to ensure compliance with established guidelines, quality standards, and effective utilization of resources.

On the occasion the Concurrent Audit Team members were apprised of the significance of their role in evaluating the projects’ execution and highlighting any potential irregularities or areas for improvement.

The ADDC directed to adhere to the prescribed format while preparing their reports for the examined cases.

Ali Afsar Khan on the occasion set a strict deadline for the submission of the audit reports. The team was instructed to submit the detailed reports, along with their findings and recommendations, within a time period of 10 days.

Besides, concerned Officers and officials, Officers from various departments including PHE, PDD, R&B and DSEO also attended the meeting.
