DC Kupwara inaugurates CRM at Handwara

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan inaugurated first of its kind CRM (Cash Recycler Machine) at Main Market Handwara in presence of Cluster Head J&K Bank Kupwara, Shadab Mehboob.

This is the first of its kind CRM at Handwara and second in Kupwara district which is laced with latest technological banking facilities and will help, the people of the area in withdraw and depositing cash beyond banking hours and even on holidays as it will remain open 24×7. CRM will be having fake currency detection, instant messaging and note denomination wise receipt facilities.

While congratulating people of Handwara, the DC thanked J&K Bank authorities for their contribution in rendering banking facilities to the people. She urged the people to take advantage of this CRM and use it frequently.

She said that the machine will benefit specifically traders and the business community as well as the local population of Handwara by saving their valuable time and efforts.

The DC on the occasion expressed hope that bank will open more such CRMs in future in Kupwara district.

The Cluster Head reaffirmed the bank’s commitment in providing world-class banking facilities and services to the people of Kupwara district.

“There was demand of CRM at manin market of Handwara from Traders and customers. To ease the customer service, J&K Bank operationalised CRM at Main Market Handwara as it is a large market having good cash transactions and fruit Mandi is also located close to CRM besides it will also reduce footfall on Business Units of Handwara.” Cluster Head said.

LDM Kupwara, Mehboob Ellahi Khan; ADC Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir; President Traders Federation Handwara, Tehsildar Handwara, Branch Mangers of various Branches of Handwara and customers of the J&K bank were present on the occasion.
