The Border Security Force has always been committed towards its
social responsibilities along with its primary objective of round the clock border guarding. Apart from protection the Borders, the Border Security Force also takes special care of the environment. For out better tomorrow by making the plant greenery through massive plantation
drive. In this series 27 Bn of the Border Security force organized a Tree
plantation programme at various FDLs in the supervision of Sh. Man
Singh, Comdt of 27 Bn BSF Sh. Syed Saif Ahmad, 2lC of 89 Bn BSF, Sh. Anand Kumar, DC a/w Sos 08 and Ors 30 of this Unit persons. In this tree plantation drive Unit has 250 trees planted.
These tree are an investement for the future generations that shall
provide natural shade in open spaces and provide cleaner air to breathe
by increasing green cover.
