NHM Chhattisgarh officers on visit to J&K to study best practices in healthcare system

A high level team of officers from State Health Society and National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh headed by Joint Director, Finance and accompanied by State Programme Manager and other senior officers from planning visited the office of State Health Society and National Health Mission, J&K, Old Secretariat here.

The team is on a week’s visit to the UT of J&K with an objective to study and understand the best practices in UT of J&K like IPHS based District Gap Analysis, ASHA Model, Skill Lab and DNB Programme which have been appreciated at the National Level and replicate these practices.

During the interaction with NHM officers, detailed presentation was made by the NHM, J&K and NIPPI officials to provide the implementation framework of the best practices adopted by the UT of J&K.

During the meeting officials from Chhattisgarh interacted with divisions of NHM, J&K like Maternal & Child Health, CP&ASHA, CPHC, DNB, Quality & Patient Safety, Skill Lab divisions.

The team from Chhattisgarh was highly influenced by the concepts that the Health Department of UT of J&K has adopted in developing the health care sector of J&K and expressed their gratitude towards the Health Department of UT of J&K particularly NHM, J&K for organising such knowledge sharing platform.
