KVK Anantnag organizes Awareness/ Demonstration programme on Nano Urea & Nano DAP

KVK-Anantnag, SKUAST-Kashmir today organised an awareness cum demonstration programme on Nano Urea & Nano DAP at KVK-campus in collaboration with IFFCO for the farmers of district Anantnag.

The programme was organised on the directions of Director Extension, SKUAST-Kashmir.

The Head KVK-Anantnag Dr. Ishtiyaq A. Khan highlighted the importance of organising such programmes for creating awareness among the farming community and emphasized on the need to conduct field trials by the scientists of the Kendras for promoting the product.

Showkat Ahmad, Area Manager IFFCO in his address praised the efforts of KVK-Anantang for the excellent work being carried out by the scientists of the Kendra for the welfare of the farming community and deliberated about the importance of using Nano Urea & Nano DAP on various crops for enhanced production which is being promoted by the Govt. of India in a big way for promoting efficient use of plant chemicals.

He further promised to conduct more such programmes with KVK-Anantang in near future.

Syed Muzamil AGT, IFFCO gave a detailed PowerPoint Presentation on the use of Nano Urea & Nano DAP.

During the programme Nano Urea & Nano DAP bottles were distributed among 42 farmers.
