DC Kupwara reviews progress in execution of Kendriya Vidyalaya Drugmulla

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of concerned officers at Meeting Hall of DC office complex Kupwara to review the issues being faced in execution of Kendriya Vidyalaya Drugmulla.

The DC directed the concerned officers to revisit the site jointly and resolve all issues being faced in execution of Kendriya Vidyalaya at Drugmulla.

She instructed the executing agency (CPWD) to start the execution of work so that this important project is executed well in time.

The DC asked Tehsildar Drugmulla to demarcate the land for the construction of approach road for the Kendriya Vidyalaya and resolve other issues so that Kendriya Vidyalya is established at Drugmulla and quality education with extra co- curricular activities are provided to the students of Kupwara district.

It is in place to mention here that the District Administration has already transferred Kahcharai land measuring 40 Kanals of land under Khasra No-4593/3473 at Drugmulla for construction of Kendriya Vidyalya.

While briefing the meeting, ACR Kupwara said that authorities have retrieved 170 Kanals of Shamilat (Kahcharai) land at the same spot and they can provide land for the construction of approach road for Kendriya Vidyalaya Drugmulla.

Meeting was attended by ACR Kupwara, Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya Baramulla, Executive Engineer CPWD Srinagar; Dy. CEO Kupwara and officials of land acquisition DC Office Kupwara.
