A 27-year-old man was injured after a bear attacked him in Ashtangoo village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday afternoon.
An official told that a man identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh (27) son of Mohd Ashraf Sheikh of Ashtangoo Aloosa area of Bandipora was attacked by a bear when he was doing work in his orchards at Ashtangoo this afternoon.
He sustained serious injury on his head and was immediately rushed to District Hospital Bandipora where from he was referred to SKIMS Srinagar for specialised treatment
