With an aim to spread awareness about drug addiction and its ill effects, Indian Army in collaboration with Doctors and medical staff of Ayush, conducted a drug awareness campaign at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School, Taratpora wherein doctors of Ayush and the teachers of school gave heart wrenching accounts of drug addicts and drug addiction’s adverse effects on family and society. These events primarily focussed upon ill effects of drugs on our society and how collectively we can eradicate this social menace.

Prominent personalities like Ayush Doctors, Medical Officer PHC Taratpora, Principal Higher Secondary School Taratpora shared their valuable knowledge on the subject. 178 Students from various sections of society participated in aforesaid campaign, which primarily aimed at spreading awareness on misuse and dangerous effects in unethical consumption of drugs. The awareness drive will also help to build confidence amongst civil society and motivate them to do well in their life.
