DE&CC hosts one Day Job fair in Doda

A One Day Job fair was organized by District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Doda here in its Office Complex in Akramabad.

The Event/Job fair was inaugurated by Deputy Director Employment Mohammad Idrees Lone. He briefed the participants about the conditions and nature of the jobs being provided to the unemployed youth in the Job fair.

Thirteen Reputed companies offering more than 350 vacancies participated in this Job fair. The DE&CC provided joint platform to HDFC Bank ltd, ICICI Bank ltd, IndusInd Bank Ltd, LIC India corp., SBI LIFE, Rajshree Automobile ltd, Bajaj Allianz, Bajaj Finance, Care Health Insurance, Maruti Suzuki JK Vehicleads, NEXA, Dehlivery and Hotel Khan plaza Doda to made selection among more than 500 Job-seekers, who participated in the job fair. More than 100 candidates were short-listed by the employers for the next stage of recruitment process.

The Deputy Director Employment along with representatives from line departments offering self-employment schemes had a detailed interaction with the participants/Job seekers and sensitized them regarding various self-employment schemes and persuaded them to reap the benefits of those schemes as well.
