DDC Reasi reviews progress under District Capex Budget 2023-24

District Development Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal on Saturday chaired a meeting of District and Sectoral officers of different developmental departments here in the DC office complex.

The DDC reviewed progress of the ongoing works along with the status of new works with regards to preparation of estimates/tendering/allotment and execution under UT/DDC/BDC/PRI, Aspirational Block Development programs and Aspirational panchayat Development plan under capex Budget 2023-24.

The executing agencies apprised DDC Reasi that all the ongoing works are under completion and 40% of estimation has been done.

The DDC issued strict instructions to the Executive Engineers of (R&B )Pwd, PMGSY, JPDCL, PHE , Xen MID , REW to speed up the pace of preparation of estimation and also start the works immediately, as ‘we have received 50%of funds under capex Budget which needs to be utilized at the earliest to pave way for seeking balance funds from the Finance Department.’

After taking the work wise review under all the components, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to expedite the tendering process followed by their execution and completion of the same.

ADDC Jyoti Slathia, CPO Sunita Kanchan, ACD Reasi Anirudh Rai, CMO Reasi, Youth Service and sports officer, XEN JPDCL, XEN PWD Katra, XEN PMGSY Reasi, XEN Rew, and other concerned officers were also present at the meeting.
