Blood Donation Camp was organized by 21 Bn, CRPF, Metro Hotel, Dalgate, Srinagar at Ahmed Nagar, Anchar area Srinagar in co-ordination with SMHS Hospital, Srinagar. This is done to raise awareness of the importance of Blood donation and to recognize the contribution of voluntary unpaid blood donors in saving lives and improving health. This Blood donation is helping the Thallesemic patients of the Society by providing free unit of Blood. The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Shri Alok Veer Yadav, Commandant 21 Bn, CRPF in the presence of Shri Amit Sinha, Second-In-Command, Dr. Ajay Kumar, CMO(OG) 2-1/C, Shri Jagsher, Dy. Commandant & SMHS Hospital Staff. It was a unique opportunity for our Officers & Jawans to donate their blood to save a life. In this camp 05 Officers & 28 Personnel total 33 donors donated their blood. After donating the Blood, the Donors were given refreshment. Donor’s were also issued certificate by the SMHS Hospital, Srinagar.
