Education top priority for District Administration: DC Anantnag

Felicitates class 10th, 12th toppers

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, SF Hamid today presided over the felicitation ceremony held for 10th and 12th class students who performed well in their examination and registered their names among the toppers of the district.

On the occasion, the DC said that the students have demonstrated brilliance in their academic examinations and have made the district proud. He also lauded the efforts of their teachers and parents.

He said that a good proportion of the students belong to District Anantnag and their academic performance implies the success of critical reforms made in the education sector.

SF Hamid said that they have demonstrated that with sheer will and dedication, one can overcome any barrier and no feat is unachievable.

DC congratulated specially-abled students for their inspirational stories. He also said that the revolutionary transformation in the manner of teaching has been instrumental in massive improvement in the education sector.

He also stressed upon the students to keep away from bad habits and focus on studies and sports only .

At the conclusion of the function, a prize distribution ceremony was also held, medals and certificates were distributed among the students by the DC Anantnag.

The function was attended by Chief Education officer Anantnag, students, parents and other district level functionaries from the education department.
