The 2–Day photo exhibition on the Theme 9 Years of Seva Sushan and Garib Kalyan, G20, EBSB and Mission LiFE concluded today here at Assar.

Block Development Council, Chairperson , Sulekshana Devi was the Chief Guest at the valedictory Function of the 2 Day Integrated Outreach & Communication programme organised by Field Office Doda of Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.

The Outreach Programme was organised with the aim to generate mass awareness regarding the achievements of the government during the 9 Years of Seva Sushan and Garib Kalyan and Centrally Sponsored Schemes by the Bureau.

In his address, the Chief Guest said that the Exhibition showcased the achievements and MileStones of various Welfare Schemes of Government of India and is more appealing in a unique way.

Khursheed Yousuf, Field Publicity Officer, CBC, Field Office Udhampur gave an overview of various IEC activities being carried out by the department in J&K & Ladakh. He highlighted the importance of such programmes which play a pivotal role of spreading the awareness of various policies and programmes of the Government.

Speaking on Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Lecturer GHSS Assar, said the programme aims to share the culture, Art, Languages, Cuisines etc with the paired states and it promotes National Integration.

Aijaz Ahmad, Agriculture Extension Officer, spoke on the Centrally Sponsored Schemes of Agriculture Department and different achievements recorded in block Assar.

A Pledge was taken on Mission LiFE by all the participants.
