The Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan today extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha, for his timely approval of the long-pending demand to transfer land for the establishment of a 125-bedded hospital in Budgam.

This crucial decision is set to significantly improve healthcare services in the district and cater to the growing medical needs of the local community.

Over the years, the residents of Budgam have been facing challenges in accessing adequate healthcare facilities due to the limited capacity of the existing medical infrastructure. The establishment of a 125-bedded hospital has been a persistent demand, and Chairman DDC Budgam has wholeheartedly appreciated the decisive action taken by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor to address this pressing issue.

The approval of land transfer for the hospital demonstrates the Lieutenant Governor’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. By addressing the long-standing demand, the Lieutenant Governor has paved the way for a significant improvement in healthcare services in Budgam, ensuring that residents have access to quality medical care closer to their homes.
