Vishesh Mahajan, Deputy Commissioner Doda, today flagged-off a group of 25- PRIs and Watershed Committee members for a 5-day Capacity Building tour to National Institute of Rural Development in Hyderabad.

The training program aims to enhance their skills and knowledge in integrated watershed management under the PMKYSY 2.0 initiative. The departing members are associated with the IWMP Project Panjsoo/Shiva, which falls under the purview of the WDC/PMKYSY 2.0.

 

The tour programme is being managed by ACD Doda, Phulail Singh under the directions of Commissioner/Secretary RDD Mandeep Kaur.

 

The training program, organized by the state-level nodal agency Jammu and Kashmir, under the Rural Development Department and Panchayat Raj, will take place at the National Institute of Rural Development in Hyderabad.

 

This initiative seeks to equip PRIs and Watershed Committee members with the necessary tools and expertise to effectively contribute to the integrated watershed program. By attending the training, participants will gain valuable insights into the latest techniques and best practices in rural development. The program aims to foster sustainable development and enhance the overall welfare of the local communities.

 

This collaborative effort aims to strengthen the implementation of the IWMP project and promote inclusive growth in the Doda region. The knowledge and experience gained through this training program are expected to play a pivotal role in the successful execution of future development initiatives.
