The camp was hosted under the guidance of Chief Medical officer, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar, to provide quality medical care and free medicines to the local population at their doorsteps to bridge the healthcare gap and ensure that the needy receive timely medical attention.

Led by the senior Doctor, Dr Tariq Hussain, a dedicated medical team examined around 100 patients during the camp. The healthcare professionals provided comprehensive evaluation for various ailments, addressing the immediate health concerns of the local population. The medical consultation focused on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and tuberculosis (TB) screening, reinforcing the importance of preventive healthcare.

Residents of Malan Dessa and surrounding areas were greatly benefited by this well-organized medical checkup camp. The availability of quality healthcare services in remote regions like Malan is often limited, leading to increased health disparities. However, through the efforts of the health department, barriers to healthcare access were successfully overcome, ensuring that even the most marginalized individuals received much-needed medical attention.

The mega health camp served as a shining example of the government’s commitment to equitable healthcare delivery. By reaching out to the underprivileged communities, the health department showcased its dedication towards improving the overall health and well-being of the population. The successful screening for NCDs and TB will not only help in early detection but also aid in preventing the spread of diseases within the community.
