Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur today organized a Blood Donation Camp here at Command Hospital Udhampur to mark World Blood Donor Day.
A total of 40 NCC cadets of 2 JK NCC Girls Bn, of GCW Udhampur participated in the camp.
Principal, Prof. Anjali Mahajan appreciated the cadets and said that a commendable service is being given by the students of the college to the society. “We all wish such students a bright future and also urge the common people to be aware of blood donation,” she added.
Prominent among those present were Col. Dinesh, Brig ADM and Maj Prachi, Pathologist, Blood Bank. The camp was coordinated by Lt (Dr.) Kamal Deep Kaur, Associate NCC Officer of the college.
