BANDIPORA: Wahab Cultural society Hajin in collaboration with Doon International School Jammu organised a grand function in connection with ‘Jashan e Zarian’ culmination ceremony at Town Hall Hajin on Sunday.
The function was presided over by Rafiq Massoodi Chief Parton Adabi Markaz Kamraz besides him Abdul Ahad Hajini ,Sonaullah Niyaz,Dr.Riyaz ul Hassan ,Shakir Shafi,Azhar Hajini ,Sagar Sarfraz,Mohammad Amin Bhat ,Aijaz Rah,Majeed Majazi ,Nazir Javid,Khursheed Qureshi ,Shabnam Tilgami ,Dr.Ayash Arif ,Zahoor Haigami ,Saleem Yousuf ,Manzoor Ahmad ,Ghulam Nabi Dar,Irshad Ahmad Wani , Imtiyaz Parray,Rasheed Roshan,Akhter Mansoor were also present during the event.
The event, along with Kashmiri theatre, some essays on the current situation of Kashmiri language and literature were presented and a play by the late Latif Ashiq was staged on the occasion.
Mehfel e Mushaira was also held on the occasion where in dozens of peots present their peoms .
Nazir Javed , the patron of the Wahab Cultural Society society Nazir Javid throws light on the detailed history of the Wahab Cultural society.
Renowned Kashmiri writer Abdul Ahad Hajni, famous singer and actor Ejaz Ahmad Rah and the largest literary association of North India “Adabi Makraz Kamraz” were awarded respectively on the occasion .
On this occasion, the latest drama collection of renowned playwright Dr. Sohanlal Kaul was released.
Many writers , intellectuals ,and media persons also attended the program.
The proceedings of the event were carried out by Azhar Hajin and Majeed Majazi.
