To review the implementation and progress under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)-Urban in the District, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya convened a meeting of officers of Urban local bodies in the Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex.
During the meeting, the DC took a detailed review of the implementation of the PMAY-Urban scheme in one Municipal Council and two Municipal Committees of the district.
CEO, MC Udhampur informed that a total 18 projects have been approved for Udhampur MC and two other Municipal Committees under PMAY-U.
The DC instructed the concerned to ensure advance financial mobilization to non-starters and ensure completion of all houses within the stipulated time frame. Concerned officer informed the DC about release of installments to the verified beneficiaries and expenditure made so far under the scheme.
Necessary directions were issued to the concerned Officers to ensure that the scheme guidelines are followed in letter and spirit so that all genuine eligible beneficiaries are covered under the PMAY-U scheme in the district.
