The campaign ended today on a positive note as an overwhelming response was received from the farming community in all blocks of the district.

Audio-visuals (AVs) aids were used to disseminate the information about different government sponsored schemes meant for the welfare of the farmers associated with Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture, Apiculture, Pisciculture, Sericulture etc.

The resources persons from different departments raised awareness regarding various schemes among the participating farmers. Informative booklets in 03 (three) languages regarding the scheme of HADP were distributed among the participants.

Moreover, farmers were also made aware about Daksh Kisan (online learning portal for skill development) and Kisan Sathi (IT Dashboard) portals regarding the digitalisation of various services/ schemes. During the program, farmers also raised various queries, which resolved the concerned resource persons amicably.

The event witnessed a huge participation of farmers’ mostly unemployed youth at each venue and 985 farmers were registered during the seventh round of Kisan Sampark Abhiyan for the baseline survey by the Skill gap study resource persons.

The PRI members present at the occasion lauded the efforts of the departments for educating the farmers regarding the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan of their respective panchayats.
