In addition, the pilgrims can carry their Aadhaar card with them to the bank branch where they can also activate foreign transactions, Rufai said, adding that they can withdraw 17,00 Saudi Riyals on a daily basis and can also make purchases up to 4,300 Saudi Riyals through swipes.

“We have installed over 20 foreign exchange currency counters in every district headquarters of J&K Bank, including four major counters in Srinagar district and one at Hajj House Bemina, Srinagar,” he said. “The Hujaj (Hajj pilgrims) should remember us in their prayers, take care of their health, and stay safe.”
