Delina, June 5: Today Government Higher Secondary Institute Delina celebrated World Environment Day  Under the theme,” Solution to plastic pollution”.  All the students and teaching faculty partcipated in this event. In the first session a painting and a debate Competition was Conducted. A good number of students showed their active participation in both the events. After the completion of Ist Session, a mega rally was organised by the school authorities which was flagged off by the Principal Mr. Ab. Rashid with the aim of creating awareness, mobilise action and promote environmental  sustainability among the students and society. Moreover, a cleanliness drive and the plantation drive was also conducted within the school premises. Addressing the participants Principal sir said that the Environment Day aims to remind us all o our shared responsibility to protect and nurture the environment. He said that by our collective efforts we can make a difference by adopting sustainable habits, conserving resources and promoting eco-friendly practices. Whether it is planting trees, reducing waste, or supporting renewable energy, every small step counts.
