KARNAH,29 MAY: Shaista Alyas who is Class 9th Student of AGS HAJINAR, TANGDHAR and hails from Kandi Bala village in Karnah Tehsil(Kupwara) has  made the whole region proud by winning GOLD MEDAL in National Taekwondo Championship  organise by  Samyuth Bharat Khel Foundation (SBKF) at Delhi JLN Stadium. Shaista Alyas also participated at international level tournament for the similar discipline in February this year where where she represented India at Fujirah, UAE from 05 to 08 February 2023 organised by Taekwondo Organisation of India.  The latest achievement came on 28 May 2023 when Shaista Alyas won Gold Medal at 8th edition of SBKF Nationals Games held at JLN stadium, New Delhi.
