TEETWAL KARNAH//Line of Control after being in the shadow of guns for decades  The beautiful Karnah valley is gradually turning itself into a tourist destination. After the armistice agreement between indo pak ,theTourism activities are increasing in the area.After  February 2021  More than 40,000 locals and non-locals tourists have traveled to Karnah valley and have enjoyed the beauty of this beautiful border tourist destination. Meanwhile, the administration told to The residents of border area especially youths should take 40% subsidy upto 10 lakh rupees for  the facility of home stay and other tourist facilities. It means the Youth get loan up to Rs 10 lakh with 40% subsidy.  The tourism department ,Indian Army  and local administration payed huge attention to promote border tourism.Indian army organized many awareness cum tourism attractive programmes at teetwal from year 2021   The initiative became  successful that 3 lakhs 75 thousands vistors has visted in district kupwara,while  40 thousands vistors  visited in teetwal border area .   Tetwal has become a favorite place for tourists in the country because there  A Shadra Peeth temple and a Gurdwara were constructed.  Home stay and more accomodation is needed  for the tourists in the said area so   It has been said that the  youths who are unemployed   will get 35 to 40 percent subsidy under PMEGP scheme  Get loans up to Rs 10 lakh and start homestay and other tourism  Development  facilities  so that they can generate their livelihood. An official said  that a large number of tourists coming to Kashmir since last year   showing their interest in  see the unexplored  sites and these areas  are becoming popular at scale.   RAJA WAQAR, General Secretary of Civil Society Karnah ”  “With the ceasefire, we are finally living a normal life.i hope this step will generate emplyment to the native youngsters and more developmental works will start in the area  , we used to sneak into bunkers even in light shelling, but now  We are hoping that we will not see those days again,”   Mohammad aijaz Khan, a social activist and member of the Sharda Committee, said, “ a numbers  of tourists were seen in the area  which has never been seen here before, we want  May peace be maintained in Karnah in the same way and people prosper.”  Beopar Mandal  President Haji Taslim Ahmad Mir said, “There was no such thing as tourism in the border area, people felt afraid of coming here, but the return of peace  Tourism activities also started here and i am grateful to the indian army and relevant department and administration Social activist Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Lone said, “We hope that,in future   More and more tourists will visit  Karnah, because from  last 2  Years , administration  has tried to put these areas on the tourist map  . it seems that now progress and development will knock on every door here, and this is possible only when the peace will remain .  A senior officer of the Department of Tourism  Stated that cross-border tourism has the potential to change the socio-economic status of people.  He urged people to register for homestay  Because tourists prefer homestays to enjoy seeing the new border destination . The Indian Army always wanted the best for the people  They have also played a major role in promoting cross-border tourism. A kitchen namely “KARNAH KITCHEN” was also inaugurated at Dhana near Sadhna top  in the last week, which is  a good sign for the general public and tourists as well
